Hotlines

Hotlines may call the police if they feel like you or another is in danger. If you are in crisis, please call. It might be scary, but is sometimes necessary.

988 is the US suicide hotline. They have contacts specifically for veterans and LGBTQ folks as well. They can be contacted by call or text.

Crisis Textline is a textline that also has chat and whatsapp availability. They will get your permission before calling the police. You can reach them at 741741, with the keyword "HOME"

LGBT hotline has several lines available (mon-fri 3-11pm cst, sat 11am-4pm cst), they are as follows:

National Domestic Violence hotline can be reached at +1 (800) 799-7233.

(866) 331-9474 or text loveis to 22522 for National Dating Abuse Hotline

(800) 656-4673 is the Sexual Assault hotline.

1(800) 786-2929 is the National Runaway Line

Warmlines are for advice and support

211 can give you access to resources, including community response teams in some cities.

Blackline is "peer support and counseling prioritizing BIPOC, with an LGBTQ+ Black Femme Lens." They can be reached at 1 (800) 604-5841
